April 29th, 2009 $1.5 million from Telefilm Canada for Sarila Telefilm Canada has confirmed its $1.5 million participation in the financing of Sarila, the first 3D animation feature film from Nancy Florence Savard, director and producer at 10th Ave Productions. November 6th, 2008 10th Ave Productions gets a promotion With its recent recognition by Telefilm Canada, 10th Ave productions is now eligible on its own as a feature-film producer for the national investor thanks to its animation project Le Coq de St-Victor, written by Johanne Mercier and Pierre Greco and art director Christian Daigle. With this official recognition, new doors are opening for animation and fiction filmmakers in the Quebec City region. October 27th, 2008 The animated series W is selected for official competition at Expotoons in Argentina For the third time this year, following the Just For Laughs Film Festival and the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television’s “Prix Gémeaux”, for the third time this year the animated series W from 10th Ave Productions received a nomination, this time at Expotoons in Argentina. June 18th, 2008 In one week: A second nomination for W Yesterday, during the press conference at Studio Juste pour Rire on Boulevard St-Laurent, Montreal, the 2D animation series of gags, W, by a company based just outside of Quebec City, 10th Ave Productions, was nominated for an award for the second time in one week, after a nomination for the Prix Gemeaux : Best animation awarded by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television.
