Saint-Augustin-de-Desaures, November 13, 2007 — For a second year, 10th Ave Productions 10e Ave is a finalist for the Prix Sodec entreprise culturelle aux Prix d’excellence des Arts et de la Culture, an event organized by the cultural councils of the Quebec City and Chaudières Appalaches regions. 10th Ave Productions is pleased to observe that its work, providing international exposure for Quebec artists, is being recognized by people on the cultural scene in Quebec City.

Starting September 3, 2007, TELETOON will broadcast the new season of W on both the French and English networks. It’s a bright collection of 52 new gags that, once again, will have viewers rolling on the floor laughing. In this series of funny, dialogue-free 30-second vignettes, in 2D Flash animation, we enjoy the hilarious adventures of William, the Cormorant, and the White Shark on a sandy island in the St. Lawrence River.

Following the 2007 Marché International du Film d’Animation d’Annecy, Nancy Savard, producer and director at 10th Ave Productions, is happy to announce the conclusion of a co-production agreement with the French producers Henri Magalon of Maybe Movies and François Cohen Séat of Art’ Mell, for the fantasy project Tidoms by Patrice Garcia and Céline Garcia, creators, among other productions, of the feature Arthur and the Invisibles by Luc Besson.

Popularized by Télé-Québec in its Ciné Cadeau series, The Collection of Classic Christmas Tales is now available in stores, thanks to Imavision. These four 3D-animated Quebec Christmas films were created and produced entirely in Quebec, and feature Quebec actors Joe Bocan, Guy Nadon, Paul Buissonneau, Paul Doucet, Gabriel Gascon, Mario St-Amand, Nathalie Mallette and Stéphane Crête.

Treat yourself this summer to a daily dose of side-splitting laughter with W, on the Teletoon channel. Tomorrow 10e Ave Productions is launching its first 2D comic animation series across the country on French and English television stations.

This July 3 at 8 pm, Forward: The Intelligence of the Bionic Leg, a documentary by director Nancy Savard, has its television premiere on RDI in the Grands Reportages series.

On Friday, March 31 at 5 p.m. at Auberge St-Antoine de Québec, as part of the regional production summit of the Festival de Cinéma des 3 Amériques, Productions 10e Ave will hold a sneak preview of its new social-medical documentary: Forward: The Intelligence of the Bionic Leg.

As a past winner of the competition, Nancy Savard has agreed, out of gratitude and solidarity, to chair the 8th Concours Québécois en Entrepreneuriat de la Région de la Capitale Nationale ( the Quebec Entrepreneurship Competition for the National Capital Region).

In what has turned into a holiday tradition, this week 10th Ave will launch its fourth Christmas tale Le baiser sous le gui (The Kiss Under the Mistletoe) written by Andrée Lambert, produced by Nancy Savard and soon to be aired in Quebec on Télé-Québec, and in the rest of the French-speaking world on TV5 Monde.
