September 29th, 2005 Silver Galaxi Award for Skip The Sound Barrier Thanks to its high quality, the Productions 10th Ave documentary, , broadcast on RDI television, won the Silver Galaxi award for best information show on Tuesday night at the awards ceremony for the Canadian Cable Telecommunications Association (CCTA), an event that honours excellence in local, educational or specialized programming. September 18th, 2005 Nancy Savard, among the Top 20 Economic Leaders Yesterday morning, Le Soleil, a daily newspaper serving the greater Québec City area, unveiled its Top 20 economic leaders of tomorrow. Economic journalist, Louis Tanguay, wrote that the president and founder of 10th Ave Productions, Nancy Savard, is among those carefully selected by a group of observers of the regional business sector. The objective of the Top 20 list is to identify individuals who may well influence the regional economic landscape before they reach the age of fifty. April 20th, 2005 Finalist at the Arts and Culture Awards In the 18th Annual Arts and Culture Awards, the television and cinematographic production house 10th Ave Productions is a finalist for the “Prix Sodec de l’entreprise culturelle.” Each year the Sodec underlines the remarkable efforts in business development of an enterprise in the Quebec and Chaudière-Appalaches regions. The winners will be revealed on April 25th in the “Théâtre de la Bordée” in Quebec City. December 14th, 2004 The tradition of the Christmas log, third 3D animation movie On December 23, 2004, at 5:30 PM, Télé-Québec will broadcast the new Christmas tale produced by the Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures company: La tradition de la bûche de Noël (The tradition of the Christmas log) from a script by Roger Harvey and Louise Leblanc. October 19th, 2004 Elvis sings in Tradition of the Christmas Log For the past ten years, singer Martin Fontaine has been playing rock n’roll legend Elvis Presley in the stage show Elvis Story at the Capitole Theatre in Quebec City. Now he’s the voice behind the songs - in English and French - of a raccoon called Lotor in 10th Ave Productions’ third animated film, Tradition of the Christmas log. This edutainment content will enable children to develop and/or test their various skills in relation to ideas learned in school. Children 4 to 8 years of age will learn, among other things, about computers, music and drawing while they are having fun. They will play both visual and audio association games. Because the worlds and characters are drawn from 10th Productions’ animated films, the Web content is mainly in 3D animation.
